Showing off the fish and fountain pan at the May Metalmeet in Becker. Joe Straley, Lew Chowen, Jim King, Derald Tim and host Scott Kelly.

Scott looked at the early stage of forming thecopper, faux rock base for the sculpture with kind of a bemused look.
I said, "kind of looks like you forgot to move something out of the way when you pulled out with a big rig trailer doesn't it . . ."
no response.
"Twice . . . ?" I said.

"Yeah!" He responded.

Hole to fill in the sculpture base.

roughing in the shape with tape.

Walnut filled leather bag too unresponsive to form small part in

wax filled sand or plasticine clay gave better response.

First attempt at a molding for the edge of the pan. Too wide, but now I know how to make the die.
