Strangis Fountain

The project is to put a new copper fountain on the side of the Chimney in a roof garden/terrace.

Fountain pan with bearing plate positioned.
fountain pan is 9.1deep, with foot plate the top edge will be @ ~9.6 and the water level in the pan should be @ 8.5" deep. The bearing plate is 3/16 plate copper, spacers to raise the pan and direct the alternate drain flow out over the rock are .25 thick silicon bronze and the pan itself is 1/16 material making the pan base .5 thick. Top of the water should be about 9" above the top of the stone.

Pan with fish, sculpture base and drain valve approximately in place.

Forming and machining the alternate drain valve for the fountain bowl.

Pan, with edge broken to finish height and sitting in front of a copper panel the width of the planter it sits if front of.

Pan prior to addition of back, setting up to measure for final trim prior to welding on the back plate.

Pan bottom with spillways roughed in and showing drain hole for high wind situations.
