How do you compare these Machines?
Here are a couple videos heating the same 1.75" bar with an SP-15A and a 440v SP-25A.
| As you can see, the SP-15A altough rated at 1.5" heats the 1.75 bar quite effectively though the extra 21% mass slows it some and part of the heat has time to conduct away due to the longer heat time. | The 440v SP-25A on the other hand, heats the surface of the bar so quickly that it starts to melt, one would have to either keep the part moving under the coil or turn down the field to keep it from overheating like that. |
All off these machines may be custom configured for your specific use.
For example: This machine has a separate transformer unit to isolate excess heat from the electronics.

Water Coolers
These Machines require water heat exchange cooling units, we recommend Tig coolers with 15000 btu capacity for the small machine and 30,000 btu for the larger. We now handle DynaFlux tig coolers and can provide package deals.Accessories

Induction Heating
Induction Heating is a time tested way of heating metals and other things.It is used for, forging, melting, brazing, heat treating, and other things, even cooking.
It takes changing magnetic fields, like those that make a transformer work and applies them over and over again at high frequency to generate low voltage high amperage currents which exceed the conductivity of the part being heated. The electrical resistance in the part causes it to heat up when the generated current tries to flow. It is very good for spot heating. It has no flame and can be used in an inert atmosphere, making it ideal for heating, brazing, melting, forming materials without the formation of slag or scale. .
